This week the snow has been dumping down in many of
the top resorts in the Alps. The Snow Gods graced St
Anton with 50cm yesterday,
and Avoriaz with
40cm!

Snow
Overview
The recent snowfall in the Alps gets this season off to
a flying start. The forecast for Austria is for
heavy snow this weekend particularly on Sunday night. Some
of the low ski areas such as Kitzbuhel are due to see some
of
the best snow this week.
The French and Swiss resorts are also looking very promising.
Avoriaz and St Moritz have both received a fantastic 45cm of
snow the last two days, with more forecast for this weekend.
Italy received good
snow last week, and it’s
still snowing in the Dolomites. In Andorra, Pas de la Casa
will be your best bet for good snow conditions.
Overall the conditions
in North American are excellent thanks to the record-breaking
snowfall earlier in the year. The resorts
on the East coast can expect some light snow this weekend.
The best snow coming within the next few days should be near
the
Canadian border. If you are looking for some powder skiing
then check out Jackson Hole and Big Sky.
