Snow
Overview
There is plenty of snow and wonderful blue skies to
be found in North America and across the Alps.
It is no secret that Austria
has got the best conditions in the Alps with fabulous skiing
in St Anton and Lech.
There
is also some great skiing to be found in the majority of resorts
in France, Switzerland and Italy, where Madonna di Campiglio
received an amazing 80cm of snow at the end of last week. You
can also find fresh powder in both Italy and Switzerland.
The
best conditions across the Atlantic can be found on the East
coast, with heavy snowfall expected throughout the week.
Further north Fernie and Whistler have seen some good dumps
and are currently offering fantastic skiing.

 The
Herminator – The eighth wonder?!
We
at Iglu would like to send our congratulations to the mighty
Hermann Maier who claimed the men’s overall downhill
title last weekend.
The 31-year-old Austrian has completed his remarkable comeback
from his terrible motorbike accident two years ago by first winning
the super-G crown, followed by the overall downhill title.
This
is his fourth overall downhill title of his remarkable career.
What can he achieve next? Only time can tell!
