Snow
Overview
Snowfall over the weekend has greatly improved
the conditions in the Alps. France, Austria, Switzerland and
Andorra have all seen significant new snow and the snow is
still falling in many resorts, with more forecast later
in the week.
The North America resorts still offer some excellent
conditions, especially the resorts on the East Coast, which
received some
great dumps last week. Further up north, Whistler and Fernie
offer excellent all-round conditions.

 On
the Baxter trail
Britain’s number one skier hits back in Italy
after he failed to qualify for the second leg in Park City,
Utah last
month. The Scotsman has bounced back and proved to everyone
that he is back on top form by finishing at an
impressive 11th place.
Baxter has had a somewhat frustrating time since he lost his
Olympic bronze medal last year in Salt Lake City, but is
now back on the right track. He showed off is excellent form
in Madonna di Campiglio, and believes that the best
is still
to come. We at Iglu are more then convinced that Alain
will reach the podium this season. |
