Amazing End to an Amazing Winter - 02/05/2013
Overall

Winter 2012/13 will certainly go down in history as one of the great ones for good, consistent snowfalls. Not so much for bluebird days, but that's the trade-off. If you were game enough to take a punt on a late season ski trip you would have been greatly rewarded. The week commencing Monday 15 April gave us four days of blue skies, mild temperatures and easy, cruisey spring skiing. On a snow base that was over one metre at 1800m, there was no sign of this massive cover wearing thin. Like any Spring skiing though, afternoons are best spent on a sun terrace, and Club Med Aime La Plagne has one of the greats. You can ski up to within two metres of a table set up for lunch, then while away the rest of the afternoon eating, drinking and soaking up the sun. Bliss! Club Med Aime La Plagne is clearly very popular with families, with a fantastic magic carpet beginners area within one minute's walk of the ski room and plenty of activities in-house for the youngsters. Rooms are compact and functional, with a limited number of larger rooms with balconies available to those who book early.

Fantastic location, fantastic value - 25/08/2016
Overall

Hard to beat the location of this property, with ski-in ski-out convenience. Especially being able to ski almost back on to the sun deck for lunch every day. Standard rooms are small but fine for a couple. Upgraded rooms give you more space and views. This place is often great value for single skiers, with little or no under-occupancy charges.
