The Chalet Altiport are fantastic collection of chalets located in the exclusive hamlet of 'Altiport' in the upper reaches of Alpe d'Huez. Situated away from away the main hub of Alpe d'Huez but not too far. Thus giving you the best of both worlds, getting away from it all or joining in the fun and nighlife Alpe d'Huez has to offer.

Access to the ski area is simple. A short walk will take you from the front door of your chalet to the edge of the 'Altiport' piste. Form there the gentle green run will take you down the 'Bergers' base area where you can pick up the Marmottes high speed chair lift up into the main ski area. It is also here in the 'Bergers' area where you will meet your intructors for ski or snowboarding school.

All the bedrooms will have either an ensuite bathroom with WC or ensuite showerroom with WC. The chalets will come equiped with a television and possibly the odd channel in English. The communial areas - kitchen, lounge & dining areas tend to be open plan with either a wood burning stove or open log fireplace being the centre point of the lounge. Depending on the chalet allocated, most of the bedrooms will have balconies.

6 days of meals through out your stay. Your chalet host's traditional day off will normally be during the middle of your stay. On the chalet hosts day off, breakfast will be on a 'help yourself' basis. Please be sure to talk with your host who will be more than happy to help you choose and book a restaurant for your evening meal.

Breakfast including 2 daily cooked options:
Cooked options may include any 2 of the following items and varied from day to day: eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, bacon or sausages.Fresh French bread, pastries & a selection of preserves, toast on request, choice of cereals, orange and apple juice, hot beverage of choice.

Afternoon tea including: Home-made cakes, fresh bread, jam & preserves. Selection of hot and cold drinks.

Dinner: 3 Course evening meal with free flowing local wines until coffee is served. Welcome drink & canapes/nibbles upon arrival.  6 days housekeeping service.
