A memorable stay with great staff. Led by manager Richard and Head rep Jo, we enjoyed a week of good food and service. Copious breakfast (with waiter service and English breakfast) would set us up for the day. The afternoon tea nicely displayed at the end of the lounge bar with freshly made cakes when we returned from skiing. Dinner at 7.30 was served in a pleasant dining room. Dinner included hearty and tasty food, accompanied by good wine. A weekly Raclette with local produce was also a nice feature. After dinner, the lounge bar made for a welcoming place to linger and socialise with friendly staff and comfy furniture adding to the convivial atmosphere. The staff seemed to run on batteries and always with a smile. Assistant manager Kathryn and her team complement convivial atmosphere. Amenities include a pool table, darts and a table football. A large screen TV also features at the end of the room. Christina’s location is special; it is ski in-ski out, a few metres from the ski school and Rond Point des Pistes providing easy access to the vast Alpe d’Huez ski area. The adjacent ski hire shop Sport Jeannot 2000 is convenient, friendly service and well stocked. Parking is available for independent travelers and there is a ski / boot room on ground floor. - Thomas Moulton, Iglu Ski Senior Sales Expert
