Grau Roig is one of the six picture-perfect areas that make up the resort of Grandvalira. Grandvalira is the largest skiable area in Europe and boasts an extensive ski area which is home to a range of different runs, lifts and slopes. Located close to the main road through Andorra, it sets itself as a perfect position for accessing the ultimate snow playground.

Positioned in the heart of the Grandvalira ski region, Grau Roig is a truly unique ski area. One of most un-spoilt ski areas around, the surroundings are truly stunning. It is the only area which is not residential which mean it’s natural un-touched slopes offer impeccable skiing conditions.

Due to its north facing position the snow quality and quantity is virtually guaranteed from early December to May. It is one of the most popular places to ski due to the wide range of slopes, a variety of beginner, intermediate and expert are spread around valleys, mountains and forests. A huge off-piste area is also a very attractive feature of Grau Roig.

Perfect for a family ski holiday, it is home to excellent children’s areas and ski schools with English speaking instructors. Family friendly zones can be found amongst the forests and other areas across the resort.

Snowboarding is also popular in this area and there is a board park and half pipe close by with the Grandvalira resort.

For those that want adventure off the slopes, Grau Roig is the perfect place for you. Boasting a huge range of none-ski activites, you will never be bored. If walking is your thing, there is nowhere for picturesque and beautiful than the areas of Gray Roig. For something more adventurous try a dogsled ride, snowmobiles, paintballing and more.

The six areas of Grandvalira include Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu and Pas De La Casa. Linked together with 65 lifts which serve over 125 runs, you will be spoilt for choice and enjoy exploring new runs every day. Each Grandvalira lift pass has a chip inside, making it a convenient hands-free way of moving around.

Between Grau Roig and Soldeu you can find The Sunset Park Peretol, equipped with floodlights and music, it is the latest addition to Grandvalira’s freestyle area.

"Just home from Christmas in Val d'Isere... this was the best ski holiday I have ever been on. Val is stunning, the hotel fabulous, staff sensational and skiing out of this world. We booked through Iglu. They were fantastic. Peter had great ski knowledge, offered advice and went the extra mile. " - Pamela (Dec 2015)
