Zell am See is part of the Europa Sport Region which includes the neighbouring glacier resort of Kaprun. Easily accessible by local ski bus, the area provides a great range of pistes to suit all levels.
The ski area at Zell am See offers tree lined skiing best suited to beginners and intermediates although there are several black pistes. The views from the peak at Schmitten Pfiff are spectacular, overlooking the lake, with the glaciers toward the Grossglockner in the distance.
