Eddie The Eagle Movie out 8th August – Win 1 of 3 DVD copies with Iglu Ski

The family film of the year starring Britain’s favourite Olympic underdog, Eddie the Eagle, is now available on digital download and on DVD and Blu-ray from 8th August. Eddie the Eagle is based on the true story of Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards journey to the 1988 Calgary Winter Games as Great Britain’s first Olympic ski-jumper.

The film stars Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service) as Eddie and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) as coach and former champ Bronson Peary.

The Metro describes the film as ‘The feel good British film of the year,’ and we can’t describe it better than that! The inspiring story is directed by Dexter Fletcher (Sunshine on Leith) and produced by Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman, Kick-Ass, Stardust) and co-starts a long list of mainstream actors including Christopher Walken, Jim Broadbent, Keith Allen and Tim McInnerny.

We saw the film earlier in the year and it’s a must-have for any skiers DVD collection and the perfect way to get the family excited about heading to the snow this winter! Eddie The Eagle is a fun filled, heart-warming and crowd-pleasing story that will have all ages laughing and cheering along through the film.
