This great resort in the Canadian Rockies offers some of the most astounding snow in the world. It is located in a natural powder spot- the snow stays powdery for longer and there is more of it! Kimberley is mainly aimed at the advanced and intermediate skier- double blacks and powdery off piste routes dominate the resort- especially the back bowls. For beginners there are some easy nursery runs and some blues to graduate to. The town of Kimberley itself is very good looking, being comprised mostly of pine structures, most of them very close to the slopes. There is also plenty to do here, the town has a European Alpine feel, with bars and restaurants aplenty.
