Accommodation - Chalet Chanterperdix, Courchevel 1850
On the ground floor, there is a fantastic open plan dining and sitting room with a classic stone floor and corner fireplace. French doors also lead onto a sunny balcony. There is a separate WC.
Downstairs, there are four compact en suite bedrooms (1-4), all with double beds and en suite showers and WC. Rooms 1 and 2 have wet rooms. The bedrooms are small, but have wonderful Savoyard hand-carved furniture.
Please note that because all the beds are doubles, with en suite showers and due to its location, the chalet is less practical for young children or beginners.
Meals - Chalet Chanterperdix, Courchevel 1850
You start the day with a generous breakfast, including fruit juice, yoghurts, cereals, breads and toast, accompanied by a daily cooked option (6 days a week) to set you up for the day's activities. When you return from the slopes, afternoon tea awaits you. Relax in a comfy sofa and enjoy the homemade cakes or biscuits, breads and spreads and a much welcomed mug of tea or coffee. Remember to save your appetite for the delicious canapés served before dinner.
These are then followed by a 3-course evening meal, served with a selection of wines, cheeseboard and a glass of port, fresh coffee and chocolates. If you prefer bottled mineral water, this is also available. One evening a week the chalet staff have a night off, at which point you will have the opportunity to try one of the many wonderful restaurants available in each of the resorts.
