La Vieille Forge is located just a few minutes stroll from the piste, close to the centre of this vibrant resort and the bewildering array of après-ski activities that Courchevel 1850 has to offer.
The large dining and sitting rooms of this chalet apartment are luxuriously furnished with plenty of room for eight people to spread out and enjoy a quiet night in. Sit back and relax in front of the roaring log fire, with a glass of wine and the lyrical sounds of your favourite music on the BOSE Sound Dock.On the other hand with all the shops, cafes, bars and nightclubs that beckon from right outside your door... you may find it very difficult to let yourself stay in and relax at all!
There are 4 bedrooms - two have ensuite bath with separate private adjacent W/C's, one bedroom with ensuite shower and W/C and one with ensuite bath and W/C. You will be welcomed to your room on arrival with a fluffy bathrobe and slippers. You'll also find a selection of complimentary toiletries to pamper yourself.
In the morning you will be eased into the day by tea in bed and the welcome smell of your chalet host preparing a full English Breakfast as well as porridge, fresh bread, pastries and cereal.After a leisurely breakfast, you need only amble downstairs to the private locker room, slip into your toasty warm ski boots and grab your skis, ready to tackle the most challenging of Courchevel's ski runs.On your return you can settle down on the balcony with a delicious slice (or three!) of home-baked cake, biscuits or savoury quiche as you recall the day's exhilarating events.Dinner starts with a glass of kir or vin chaud. After which you will have your taste buds wooed with a tantalising threecourse meal accompanied with red and white wine, followed by a selection of local cheese and finally coffee and chocolates.We can tailor the holiday to your personal needs so have a chat to the reservations team or your chalet host in resort. Let us know which options are of interest to you: vintage wine upgrade; if you'd like us to organise a massage or nanny; early children's supper or whether we can book any ski school for your group. It's your choice. PLEASE NOTE: Groups (6 or more) may be subject to a behaviour/damage security deposit. Your Travel Consultant will advise you. Single sex groups are not permitted in chalets for sole occupancy. You must therefore advise us at the time of booking of any single sex groups so that we may place your booking accordingly .
