Very efficient and cheerful service, helpful and knowledgeable, couldn't fault the service.
During the course of booking our holiday I had occasion to speak to several people, Dan, Si? and Tom (I think!) Everyone was really helpful, courteous and supportive, even though at times it must have seemed like I really didn't know what I was doing! A great team and they should all be proud of their customer service!

Disappointed when I booked Ski Olympic holiday on phone on Sunday and then found flight unavailable the next day. I had not realised the holiday was subject to confirmation on the Monday. That said, the issue was dealt with very well - thank you.
I note from other remarks now on the feedback that this has been the experience of some others too. Sounds like it can be easily fixed by either better updating of website re availability or operator training to advise customers the booking is subject to final confirmation.

Despite being misled by a failure to update the website (come on iglu you're better than that!) the help I had from my 'Ski Specialist' was first class. She went above and beyond to come up with a fabulous alternative and eventually at less money than we both thought! I usually do the research on the internet myself, like many do I suspect, but by allowing Helena to help me I think I got to a better solution quicker than I would have done. I would commend anyone to use the people to help you as they really do make it easy and painless...they also make you feel special and in this day and age that's as refreshing at it is rare. It goes without saying who I'm using for next skiing holiday...

Very easy booking procedure, I've used Iglu numerous times before and I will again. My only slight complaint this year was I found it very difficult to hear the girl I was talking to on the phone - the line seemed really quiet. Made the phone call quite hard work! Would have been excellent service if I hadn't had to keep asking her to repeat what she said!

Seemed genuinely helpful and spent considerable time trying to find a suitable holiday to fit our individual requirements.
Richard the Igluski rep was very helpful and friendly. He listened to what was required and found the holiday with no trouble. Having spent months battling with foreign BT call centres it was a refreshing change to find a UK based rep working from home and who had experience of what skiers need in a holiday. I have used Igluski before and with a service like this I am sure I will use it again. This was a truely excellent service.
This was my first time goin abroad myself,and found iglu ski very helpful with all my questions, I would definetly call them again for any future holidays. Sam who I spoke to over the phone about my holiday was more than welcome to fill me in on the layout of the place..thanks Sam,and also informed me there was a music festival on that week...so super excited about it now.
Booked a ski package for 4 adults with you on Sat 21st Feb to dep on 1st of Mar to Courmayer to Chalet Mors with Ski Olympic Monies were taken and the holiday confirmed verbally, no mention was made that the booking was subject to availability. On the Monday morning I received a call to advise that the accommodation was not available as required nor the flight seats. I was offered alternatives but there was very little left to chose from. I am now very concerned as the alternative I was offered and took (Chalet Lores in Val D'Isere with Ski World) has very bad reviews on trip advisor which were not reflected on the rating on yours or Ski World's website which I was directed to when speaking to your seller. I called shortly after chaining the booking to queried this but was advised that nothing else was available with that operator for that date. I am now very concerned that the accommodation will not be of the same standard as that originally booked and confirmed by yourselves. I was assured that the reviews were not reflective of overall feedback received re the property. We will see whether this is the case but am disappointed about the booking process and will be in touch with the rep and yourselves should there be any problems.Our response:Thank you for your comments. I am sorry that the chalet ewas not available, but Ski Olympic are not open over the weekend and so we could not check availability till Monday. Please also note that no payment was taken until you agreed to the alternative.
I have been to Val d'Isere many times and can only recommend it over Courmayeur. It has been snowing for days, so you should have great powder.
Ski World are one of the largest chalet operators and we hardly get any negative feedback of them. Accidentally I am going on holiday with them this weekend, too to Austria. Please let me know how it all went when you return.

I do know Val d'isere as I worked there for 2 years so am not concerned about the resort just the accommodation. The crux of the issue was that the booking was confirmed verbally, I was not told that Ski Olympic were not open to check availability, indeed I was told this about an alternative holiday with another operator and on this basis went for the holiday in Courmayer. Neither was I told that monies had not been taken, legally there was a contract between us as the card details had been taken by yourselves and the holiday confirmed verbally. I was Customer Relations Manager for various Tour Operators for many years so know what I am talking about. I understand that your company did your best to resolve the issue but the point is that it shouldn't have happened in the first place and is a fundamental error. As I said before hopefully we will have a fantastic holiday but this is a training issue with staff working over the weekend who should be up front if any element of the holiday is subject to availability.Our response:Thank you for your kind reply and for taking the time to write to me. I have raised the matter with the sales rep you booked with, however I can assure you that there was no way for us to know how many seats were available on the flight. Unfortunately the holiday showed available online, the issue was the flights out of Gatwick, which we were only informed about on Monday.
I will however feed your comments back to Ski Olympic and ensure that our staff provide clearer communication in a similar event. Our sales rep was hopeful that he would be able to resolve the matter without having to involve you further. Regrettably this wasn't the case.

It should still have been made clear that the holiday was subject to availability and that no monies had been taken at that point. I could well have gone on to book lift passes, ski hire and hotels at LGW. Thankfully I didn't but there was no reason for me to think the holiday was not confirmed 100%. If you don't have live availability then please say so in future. Thanks again for your replyOur response:Absolutely. Couldn't agree more. We need to make sure our customers are aware. This was a bit of an odd one as the holiday was available, but with less seats than you required. As I say I will make sure we communicate this properly in the future.
