Ski-Mojo

Whether you're a beginner looking for help with posture or a pro after a more comfortable ride, the Ski-Mojo could be just the thing you need to perfect your skiing...

Ski Mojo Ski Gadget in ActionJust what is a Ski-Mojo and more importantly, does it really work? The set of springs that strap to your thighs (see right) are essentially shock absorbers that, similar to suspension on a bike or car, take in the bumps of the slopes allowing you to ski more freely. Not only that, but the support shifts the weight off your legs, meaning you feel less strain and don't get tired anywhere near as quickly. The springs are attached to your ski boots with carbon fibre rods (see below) and once it's on, it's surprisingly light and slim meaning it all fits nicely underneath your ski gear.

Does the Ski-Mojo Work?

You'll be sceptical at first; just how much can a few springs really help? It's a case of trying it and seeing just how much it can do for you. The way it encourages you to keep the correct posture is very impressive. It acts as a guideline for developing your body shape as you ski and after a few tries it feels completely natural. Following trials at selected indoor ski slopes, the Ski-Mojo has already impressed amateurs and professionals alike. When tried on real slopes in Saas Fee, one of the UK’s leading Ski Trainers said of it: "The product is great and I really hope it makes it. I am sure it will given the functionality."

A back view of the Ski Mojo being fastenedWhat are the Benefits?

With the critics happy, it seems like the skiers will follow suit. Offering better control, stronger support and improved posture, the Ski-Mojo really needs to be tried to be believed. Perhaps the biggest benefit is for those who don't usually get to ski very often. Since it can take time to get back into it, the Ski-Mojo could revolutionise your holiday. You'll get going much more quickly and be able to make better use of every last remaining day.

Ski-Mojo Availability

Following its impressive launch, it seems the groundbreaking piece of engineering will only go from strength to strength. There's just such a range of enhancements the device brings to skiing, that it's impossible not to be curious.

It's also a great option for people whose legs aren't quite as young as they used to be. In fact that's where the idea originated, with engineer Owen Eastwood who began skiing at 55 years of age but found his legs weren't quite up to the job. Now in full production the Ski-Mojo is available to buy from their website; it'd be silly not to at least try it out. Just be warned that once you do, you won't want to take it off!
