Pyha is a small resort consisting of 24 runs, accessed by 7 ski lifts. A good resort for beginners, ski holidays in Pyha also cater for intermediates with a few fairly steep runs and a half-pipe. Powder enthusiasts on ski holidays in Pyha will be kept happy with the large off-piste area available. Pyha is also the training area for the Finnish Freestyle Skiing team and has hosted the Finnish Alpine Skiing Championships since the 1960s.
