Arc 1800 is the biggest and the liveliest of Les Arc ski areas, it is also the most popular due to its ski-in, ski-out convenience. Arc 1800 boasts friendly arcades housing shops, lively bars and restaurants. Access to the ski area is incredibly easy, you have the choice of altitude skiing in the Arc 2000 bowl or long, tree lined red and blue runs down to the unspoilt hamlet of Peisey Nancroix, or, in the other direction, to Arc 1600.
Arc 1800 is the best location for beginners with a spacious nursery slope and some nice easy blues runs. You can get to the outer villages of Les Arc Peisey Vallandry and Les Arc Peisey Nancroix from here as well.
