Ski Holidays in Les Gets, France
Les Gets is an ideal ski weekend destination, only 50kms from Geneva or 20kms from Cluses for travel by the TGV.
Les Gets is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area , which includes the ski resorts of Abondance, Avoriaz, Chatel, Champery, Torgan and Les Gets’ neighbouring resort, Morzine. Les Gets is a popular French resort especially for a family skiing holiday, due to its good children’s facilities and reasonable price. Tucked away in the French Alps, ski holidays in les Gets offer a typical French ambience with a few bars and restaurants, however, for a more lively nightlife you will need to visit the ski resort of Morzine.

Les Gets has more pistes than any of the other resorts in the Portes du Soleil circuit, with a local ski pass covering les Gets, Nyon and Le Pleney. For a week ski holiday it's worth considering only taking the local pass as Les Gets is not ideally situated for access to the rest of Portes du Soleil.
Les Gets is compact and charming with most activities happening along the two streets running up to the pretty church. Nearly all ski accommodation is convenient for the skiing. At the end of the day the shops, bars and tea rooms are packed but night life is more subdued. It’s a resort where people return again and again.
