Ski Holidays in Meribel-Mottaret, France
Meribel Mottaret, usually just called Mottaret is a satellite resort higher up the mountain from Meribel Les Allues. Purpose built for slope-side convenience, ski holidays in Meribel-Mottaret are a good choice for ski in ski out and great for early or late season skiing due to its great location to the rest of the Three Valleys and the ski areas snow sure reputation.
Mottaret is much quieter than Meribel Les Allues with fewer bars and restaurants, however, there are local free buses that run regularly between the villages. There is also a pedestrian gondola that links the two villages of Meribel and Mottaret, so one can enjoy the apres ski in Les Allues before getting back to the ski chalet for dinner on your ski holidays in Meribel-Mottaret. The gondola stops running at 7.30pm.
