Ski Holidays in Montgenevre, France

Montgenevre is an attractive alpine village. There is a good range of local skiing, particularly well suited to beginners and intermediates. The links to the Milky Way ski circuit just over the Italian boarder, offer more for the advanced skier with access to 400 kilometres of piste. For boarders there is a snowpark in Montgenevre, plus two open bowls in the Milky Way, and some excellent free-riding terrain.

The village centre is traditional and compact, most accommodation is close to both the resort centre and the slopes. Alpine forests flank either side of the village, which looks particularly picturesque when snow covered. Montgenevre is a good family resort, easy to get around and offering range of childcare options.

Apres-ski is informal with a good range of restaurants, offering local specialities and international dishes, plus several good bars and a couple of discos. Montgenevre is not as lively as some of the larger Franch resorts, but there is plenty to keep you entertained.
