Ski holidays in Plagne Bellecote

Plagne Bellecote is part of the La Plagne set of villages within the Paradiski area, which also contains the Les Arcs resorts. It is a lively place, and popular for its departure point for the Bellecote glacier. Further still, Plagne Bellecote is connected to a snowboard park and half-pipe. It is located just down from the village of Belle Plagne, and connected to the lower resorts by two new chairs.

The village is mainly made up of apartment buildings, which are placed at the bottom of the slopes that run down to it. These buildings are quite dominating, but not necessarily unsightly.

The ski and transport links from Bellecotte are fantastic. For skiers and snowboarders there is the Arpette chairlift to take you towards the villages of Les Coches, Montchavin and the Vanoise Express over to Les Arcs. Les Blanchets and Colosses chairlifts transport skiers over towards La Plagne Centre and the right side of the piste map, plus there is also the Roche de Mio gondola for access to the glacier and high slopes above Belle Plagne.

For those travelling around the villages by foot, there are bus links from Bellecote that fun regularly throughout the day to La Plagne Centre and 1800. Non-skiers can travel in the Roche de Mio gondola to the village of Belle Plagne and all the way up to the glacier.

Snow conditions in Plagne Bellecote

La Plagne’s high altitude means it gets fantastic snow conditions season after season. Plagne Bellecotte has easy access to the resort’s highest slopes meaning that even if there is low snowfall, skiers will still have fantastic access to the best slopes.

Skiing in Plagne Bellecote

Plagne Bellecote is in an excellent location to make the most out of the 225km of La Plagne’s fantastic pistes, You can also reach Les Arcs in about 45 mins via the Arpette chairlift and skiing down to the Vanoise Express where there is another 200km of pistes to explore.

There are a number of bars and restaurants in the La Plagne villages, with Belle Plagne being the most recommended for après-ski. Activities in Plagne Bellecote include ice skating and snowshoeing, whilst you can also use an outdoor heated pool, or a fitness relaxation centre.
