Ski Holidays in Madesimo, Italy

Madesimo ski holidays are one of the gems in the Italian ski circuit. This charming resort is set in a traditional Italian village and is located near to the Swiss border. Madesimo is a cosy resort that features a modern lift system within walking distance from the hotels we feature. Offering a friendly and unpretentious atmosphere, skiers tend to return year on year.

The mountains offer snow-sure conditions with the resort based at 1550m and the highest lift just shy of 3000m. The pistes are well groomed and wonderfully uncluttered mid-week, making to 50km+ of skiing an enjoyable experience. There is excellent and varied terrain from the tree-lined Lago Azzurro to the high altitude pistes in the Val di Lei.

Madesimo's mountain restaurants offer fantastic value and the après-ski is friendly and relaxed. The village boasts an exhilarating 69km panoramic skidoo trail, ice skating, cross county skiing and a great array of shops, restaurants and bars centring around the resort's hotels.

I have boarded in Madesimo for the past few years and i must say that i found it a great village wonderful scenery and great boarding. Apres ski is a bit on the quiet side, so it is great for families and the avid skier. We stayed in the hotel Emet,and it was first class, and so were the staff. Also if you have time try to rent the skidoos at team extreme at the top of the village, they took us to the Swiss boarder. It was fab!
