Passo Tonale Reviews
Ive been to Tonale twice now, and everytime ive enjoyed it, but for the best runs dont hit the main slopes, venture down the looooooooooooooong blue to Ponte/Temu where it's tree lined and for some reason the snows softer!!! The only busy lift is the mian bottom lift near the ticket office, at weekends it can get busy with locals, and with it being next to the board park it gets used a lot. Best area is behind tonale, so from teh main ticket office lift take a left as your looking down the slope, to the other chair lift and you will find two runs one in a kind of bowl an dthe other more exposed, the one in the bown hardly anyone uses it as it hardly gets sun so its cold, but the slopes a ice red and never crowded. Pros: Nice slopes, quick lifts, friendly people, good food, small resort, Cons: No night life, weekend locals on the main lift
Apres Ski: 1/5

Superb resort for real beginners (those who've never skied before) up to intermediates. Most of the blues are lined up side-by-side off the main street and you can easily switch as your skills improve. The long blue from Tonale down to Pontediligno is a great mixture of steep and gentle slopes. Pistes are well-groomed. This is an ideal resort to develop your skills. Hotels are mostly 3-star.
