Pejo is a valley rich with traditions in the heart of the largest Italian National Park. With 13 km of beautiful slopes from 1400 to 2400 meters, Peio is for those who love nature, want to avoid congestion, enjoy thermal baths, and take advantage of plenty of opportunities for entertainment and relaxation.
Only a few kilometers away, the impressive ski areas of Marilleva, Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio, summing up to a total of 120 km of beautiful slopes between the Brenta Dolomites and the Ortles Cevedale group.
Pejo is the oldest tourist resort in Val di Sole, famous since 1650 for its thermal water, oilminerals and ferruginous. The connection between the various villages and the lifts is facilitated by a shuttle bus between Cogolo – Peio Terme that runs every half hour and the ski buses run by individual hotels.
Peio winter sports are ideal for those who want to avoid crowds and congestion and that love to be close to the nature. Snow in this area is abundant due in part to the vicinity of the Ortles Cevedale group – one of the highest oriental Alps with 23 peeks over 3500 meters high – and good skiingo is further guaranteed by the significant investment of snowmaking facilities, that now cover 60% of the ski area. The slopes are well maintained thanks to the daily work of several powerful grooming machines. With only a short drive by car or with the free bus service, NeveBus, it is possible to increase your options even further to experience other resorts: the impressive ski areas Marilleva and Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio and the other resorts in the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta.
In addition to alpine adventures, Peio offers excursions in the National Park, and 18 km of cross-country skiing tracks with various difficulties.
