Many of our Italian resorts enjoyed more heavy snow this week before perfect blue skies returned on Thursday 6th March.
The heaviest snowfall came in the Milky Way area. Sauze d’Oulx (140/180cm), Cesana Torinese (140/180cm) and Sestriere (140/180cm) all enjoyed half a metre of fresh snow on Tuesday 4th March.
There was also powder skiing on offer in Cervinia (120/340cm) after 24cm of powder fell on Tuesday. There was also good snowfall in the Dolomites where Arabba (211/315cm) had 30cm of new snow.
Half a metre of new snow also hit Alagna (248/381cm) on Tuesday before warm, sunny weather returned to all our featured resorts on Thursday, providing excellent visibility and great skiing.
