Chalet Furka, Lech
The charming Chalet Furka enjoys superb access to the skiing with the Zugerbahn chairlift only 100 metres (approx) away. The chalet is located opposite the domed church in the tranquil hamlet of Zug, on the road from Lech. It is only 50 metres (approx) to the bus stop for regular free buses, taking 5 (approx), to reach the exclusive resort of Lech. Chalet Furka is ideal for couples and families looking to enjoy the ambience of an attractive traditional Austrian guesthouse in an idyllic location with superb access to the skiing. Previously run as a small guesthouse, all rooms are tastefully decorated in a traditional Austrian style and have the added advantage of en suite facilities, TV, with many rooms having a balcony. As well as being able to relax in the sauna at the end of a great day on the slopes, at the entrance to the chalet is a small beauty salon perfect for some after-ski pampering! The comfortable and welcoming dining area has a balcony with great views across the valley. Rooms 6 & 8 have an extra bed for children (only) who do not eat with the main group.

Chalet staff live in on the ground floor. The owner and his family live on the second floor and share the main entrance. The owner’s friendly dog also lives on site.

Great food matters a lot to us and we take great care in planning and creating our delicious menus. We set high standards for our food and we test and taste every one of our recipes. Our menus are specially designed to give you what your body needs for active days on the mountain.
And, because food matters to us:
• We believe it is important to use fresh local produce whenever we can
• Our mouth-watering dishes are cooked from scratch and freshly prepared
• We draw inspiration from regional cuisine and combine it with familiar favourites
• And we continue to offer FREE unlimited wine until coffee
All our guests enjoy a welcome drink on arrival day and delicious freshly prepared 3 or 4 course menus 6 out of 7 nights. Our hosts have one well-earned night off when you are free to sample a local restaurant.Our chalet hosts are thoroughly trained and required to pass a food and hygiene certificate. We have a team of senior managers whose role is to ensure we deliver first class meals and service throughout the season.We are happy to cater for most dietary requirements as long as we are notified at the time of booking.
