Notes from our Igluski Experts

"The Chalet L’Arc is a light and roomy chalet with stunning views over the Tarentaise Valley. Access to the skiing is via a snowy path to a button lift, which takes you up to the main lift area of Les Arcs 2000. This is an ideal option for those wanting catered accommodation in a resort that suits all skiing and boarding tastes. As one if the highest resorts in the Alps, snow is guaranteed. There is challenging skiing from the top of the Aiguille Rouge above Les Arcs 2000 on the Glacier du Veret, while intermediates will love the hundreds of kilometres of cruising blues and reds. "

Chalet L'Arc, Arc 2000

This chalet apartment is superbly located and is only a short walk from the drag lift from which you can ski to the Telesiege St Jacques or the Telecabine du Varet. Equally close is an elevator which takes skiers up to the centre of the Arc 2000 complex and the bars and nightlife.
Chalet L'Arc is finished in wood, with tiled under floor heating and a warming open fire in the large living/dining room. It combines a traditional style with good facilities as most rooms have either a shower or bath. Guests staying in this chalet enjoy free access to a pool, sauna and fitness area in the complex (open 10.00hrs – 20.00hrs daily except Saturday). Always popular is the lively bar, Whistlers Dream, which is situated at the bottom of the complex. Self-drivers please read the Important Information section.

Chalet L’Arc (3rd floor) is in a neighbouring building to Chalets Vanoise, Arcadie and Celeste and doesn't contain lifts.

NB Due to its proximity to the slopes there is a long path to the chalet that can be snowy so good walking shoes and easy to carry bags are recommended.
