average chalet, good food, great skiing, not too busy 1/2 term week in 2 alps - 23/02/2015
Overall

Overall a good holiday. Good service at the arrival airport, uncrowded coach, then a slow journey to resort (1/2 term traffic, heavy snow) meant a later arrival at chalet. due to the late hour, lift passes and ski hire arranged with rep. Note: you could do this much cheaper if you book online direct from les duex alpes website. chalet was basic but comfortable - but not much sound insulation! Chalet girls were outstanding - food excellent & plentiful; helpful and hard working. Chalet location was way out of town, but good access to the slopes via the petite aiguille piste and lift. Ski bus stop right outside. Skiing was challenging - some of the blues and reds would have been reds and blacks in Italy - but brilliant. Actually not too busy - we avoided the jandri lift up in the morning and went up the hill early via the oeufs blanc and cable car. For the trip back we left resort 8 hrs before the flight, which was the right decision by Inghams as heavy snow and traffic caused road and airport chaos for those that left later. We made our flight, but friends who left later did not. However, they have let me know, the reps were great and put them up in a good hotel for the night.

Great place, little far from the nightlife - 25/03/2014
Overall

Truley wonderful stay at Chalet Perce Neige, made so by incredibly friendly staff (chalet hosts and resort staff) that were involved throughout our stay. Great little place, but bring earplugs. Other than the thin walls it was a very comfortable chalet with everything we needed. Skiing to and from the chalet is not bad, with 5min walk to and from the slopes and a bus stop right outside the chalet. Les Duex Alpes has something for everyone, from good beginners area to some decent black runs and fast cruising blues and reds. It even has a snow park for when you want to try a few jumps to change from just skiing runs. Massive amounts of off piste as well. One draw back for those more in to their late night Apres ski is that the nightlife is all at the other end of town. Overall a great stay and could easily do it again.
