Everything at the Tarentaise is designed to make life easy. The corridors are wide, the spacious bedrooms have plenty of room for extra children's beds and the rooms are thoughtfully furnished. The colour scheme is soft pastels and there are art prints on the walls. There's even a private jacuzzi suite in the beauty salon. It's a lovely, relaxing place to be - and ideal for the kind of skiers who want to be up in the heart of the Three Valleys before the rest. Children love it here too, particularly the brightly decorated crèche that opens straight out on to the snow.

Most of the double rooms have a full-size single bed as well as a double bed and can therefore comfortably be used as twins.
All of our bedrooms here are tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable with modern ensuite bathrooms. There's plenty of space to add extra children's beds too.
Meals - Chalethotel Tarentaise , Meribel-Mottaret
Breakfast - is served every morning until 10am. As well as a cooked breakfast, there is a buffet of juices, cereals, yoghurt and fruit, local breads and pastries, preserves and honey, along with tea, coffee, herbal teas and hot chocolate. A selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate is available in the lounge throughout the day.
Afternoon tea- is a sight you will come to love - a selection of cakes, biscuits, bread, jams and honey, to greet you on your return from the slopes. There's also soup, if you prefer, along with a choice of teas, coffee and plenty of hot chocolate.
Dinner - six nights a week our chefs create a three course menu with a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. On two evenings, including the evening of arrival, they will prepare a buffet with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. For those with a sweet tooth there are some memorable desserts to enjoy.
