Chalet Brioche, Meribel
The youngest of the three ‘sisters’, Brioche is situated adjacent to Mariefleur and shares an entrance with Marielaine, in our small private close at the entrance to Méribel. Like her sisters, Brioche combines a wealth of carved wood with elegant furnishings and lots of personal decorative touches, which really make it feel like a home from home. Sun worshippers will appreciate the south-facing sun terrace and outdoor hot tub to massage away the aches and pains of the day. The pretty bedrooms and shiny white bathrooms are absolutely immaculate, making this a very inviting chalet for a week in the Alps. For your comfort and convenience, ski hire and boot fitting are available in the chalet.

Meals - Chalet Brioche, Meribel
Good food is an essential ingredient of every chalet party. The welcoming glass of bubbly and appetising canapés on your first evening sets the tone for a week of tempting cuisine.
Your day starts with a choice of tea or coffee at your bedside (we can leave it outside the door if you prefer). This is followed by a hearty breakfast, including French bacon, tomatoes and a choice of eggs or, if you prefer, porridge; all served with fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt, freshly baked bread, croissants, jams, and a selection of teas and coffee. Once a week your chalet host offers an option of fresh pancakes.
While you are out skiing your host will have laid out afternoon tea for your return – diet-defying cakes, bread, jam, tea, coffee or hot chocolate. First one home puts the kettle on!
Dinner comprises a three-course meal followed by a cheese course, coffee and mints, and all complemented by a selection of extremely palatable French wines.
Chalet Hosts: As well as possessing a flair for entertaining and a genuine love of food, our chalet hosts are friendly, unflappable and exceptionally hard working. Having completed a rigorous pre-season training course, each host is encouraged to manage their chalet as if it were their own home. We find this engenders a commitment to your enjoyment and well-being which makes the atmosphere in our chalets quite different. Our chalet hosts have one day a week off. On this day breakfast will be laid out and fresh bread delivered to your chalet. Your host will be delighted to recommend and book a local restaurant for your evening meal.
