Cosy chalet - a bit far from the centre and pistes - 11/02/2014
Overall

We stayed in this chalet for New Year. The living room is very cosy and comfortable. The seating area is adjacent and open plan, a bit snug so it would be a squeeze for larger people. The bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms are good though some of the rooms have limited storage like a lot of French chalets. To get to Chaudanne you either need to walk a few minutes up the hill to the bus stop or catch the free minibus. With a lot of other chalets sharing the minibus service it can be a long wait for one - bear this in mind if you need to be early for ski lessons. The main problem with this chalet is the fact that there are steep steps leading up to it from the road. A struggle with suitcases if there has been a fresh snowfall. These steps are VERY slippery, several people in our group fell on them and got some nasty bruises!!
