Adjoining Alaska Lodge (pid: 26931), and furnished in the same elegantly understated style is the Valdez suite, a private chalet apartment for 4. It’s rare for us to be able to offer such intimate accommodation, and virtually unheard of in such a spectacular location. The suite is entirely self-contained, comprising two boutique-style en suite bedrooms, and a spacious lounge area with wall mounted plasma screen and high tech sound system. The south facing balcony is perfect for soaking up the après-ski high street buzz, or just enjoying the uniquely private experience of a fully catered chalet for 4.
Valdez may also be booked in conjunction with Alaska Lodge for larger parties.

After the skiing, the best part of any great chalet holiday has got to be the food. It’s not just the carefully prepared menus and choice of house wines, it’s the very real pleasure of not having to lift a finger.
Start the day with morning coffee or tea brought to your bedside, then fuel up with a hearty hot breakfast cooked to order. Freshly baked cakes await your return from the slopes and while you shower, snooze or enjoy an après-ski tipple, a mouth-watering three course meal is delivered effortlessly to your dining table. Menus are heavy enough to reward mountain exertion yet light enough to leave you grinning not groaning. Bon Apétit.
