20 Years of La La La Tania

20 Years of La La La Tania

The Three Valleys resort of La Tania will be celebrating its 20th birthday on the 22nd December this year. In celebration of leaving its teenage years, the lift pass office will be offering a free day pass to anyone turning 20 during their stay in resort.

La Tania is one of the youngest resorts in the Three Valleys with the original resorts of Meribel and Courchevel opening in 1939 and 1946 respectively and the resort of Val Thorens, St. Martin and Les Menuires popping up in the '60s and '70s. La Tania may be one of the lowest in the region at 1400m but it still offers skiing from mid-December through to April and offer superb access to both Courchevel and Meribel along with a great resort atmosphere.

La Tania has become increasingly popular with British skiers over the past decade thanks to offering some of the best value accommodation in the Three Valleys along with a small yet lively nightlife. With 4000 beds on offer including a variety of chalets, apartments and the 3* Hotel Montana, there is plenty of choice. The Pub Le Skilodge offers great après ski and is renowned as one best bars in the region.

With many Brits there for the whole season there is a friendly resort atmosphere and welcoming locals. La Tania is a hidden gem of the Three Valleys and great value, even without the free lift pass!
