Brits enjoying
European ski holidays over the new year period are in luck, following a festive snow fall and more powder predictions for the coming week.
According to the Ski Club of Great Britain, roughly ten centimetres of snow has fallen in resorts across Austria - benefiting those on
ski holidays in Kitzbuhel.
Meanwhile, those enjoying
ski holidays in Les Deux Alpes were the recipients of the same measure of powder at the weekend, which the Ski Club reveals resulted in the opening of 48 lifts.
The 2007-08 season at Les Deux Alpes opened for winter skiing on December 1st 2007 and is scheduled to run until April 27th 2008.
Closer to home, snow forecast for Britain this week could theoretically see ski resorts in Scotland opt for earlier openings.
