Britons looking to experience a little heat while on the slopes should consider taking Valentine's Day
ski holidays in Kitzbuhel.
Kitzbuhel has been named by the Ski Club as one of the top five most romantic ski resorts, Easier reports.
Those taking
European ski holidays to St Moritz in Switzerland, Megeve in France, Arabba in Italy and Andermatt in Switzerland can also expect to feel Cupid's arrow, as these resorts made up the top five along with Kitzbuhel.
According to the Ski Club, skiing can be one of the "most romantic holidays around" thanks to the combination of sun, snow, candlelit dinners, "cosy" chalets, hot tubs and sleigh rides.
An example is given of skier Tim, who met his future wife Georgie on a
ski holiday in Val d'Isere.
Following a romantic meeting on the slopes the two then married and now have two children.
