As the close of ski season fast approaches, many Britons may be considering last minute
European ski holidays this April.
For those who plan to head overseas for some late season skiing this week, conditions are mixed in Europe, with the best skiing reportedly to be had on the colder upper slopes of many ski resorts, according to the Ski Club of Great Britain.
Reporting milder conditions across French resorts, the Ski Club recommends the upper slopes for "excellent skiing".
"The resorts in the Pyrenees are doing well following a drop in temperatures over the weekend," the Ski Club added.
For fresh snow and good depths,
ski holidays in Les Deux Alpes are recommended, as are
ski holidays in Chamonix.
In other ski news resort news, La Grave - Vallons de la Meije ski area in France recently celebrated its 30th birthday.
