Ski holidays in
Courchevel, France have been tipped as a great place to enjoy some spa treatment.
The Givenchy spa at the Hotel Cheval Blanc in Courchevel was named as one of the five best ski spa resorts in article by the Times this week.
Ski spas offer luxurious pampering services which tempt tourists away from the aches and bruises endured during a hard skiing session on the slopes of the Three Valleys.
Opened in 2006, Courchevel offers the first Givenchy spa in a snow location, with four treatment cabins and a plunge pool.
Its spa features pebbles, wood and water, while after-ski massages are on offer at 170 (£131) a head.
Other skiing spar resorts featured in the article included the Remede Spa and Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch, both located in Colorado, US, and the Bergoase and Virgin Touch spas in the Switzerland resorts of Arosa and Verbier respectively.
Ahead of this winters skiing season, 11 alpine ski areas in Vermont have invested around $22 million (£12.5 million) in improvements, Times Argus reported last week.
