The 64th Austrian Open comes to the ski resort of
Kitzbuhel between May 16th and 23rd.
Usually, the major sporting event - often seen as the precursor to the French Open in Paris - takes place in July.
Among the big tennis stars expected at the tournament is the Russian player Nikolai Davydenko, who has so far clinched victory in 13 ATP competitions during his career.
In addition to hosting international sporting events, Kitzbuhel is famous for its cobbled streets and ski slopes - scenes which will be well known to regular viewers of BBC2's Ski Sunday show.
Travel writer Jeremy Skidmore remarked in the Sun: "There are some narrow tracks at the start of several of the peaks [and] the slopes are varied enough to satisfy most levels of skiers and boarders for a week."
