A young, up-and-coming freeskier from the resort of
Breckenridge has been honoured by his admirers.
Duncan Adams, 16, was named the Ball Park Alpha Dawg champion after taking part in the debut Winter Dew Tour, reports the Summit Daily.
The competition consists of a three-stop, multi-sport event and has featured on a number of TV stations, including MTV and NBC Sports.
Adams managed to clinch fourth spot in the overall freeski halfpipe standings behind Tanner Hall, Simon Dumont and Justin Dorey.
In February, he came sixth in the US Freeskiing Open that took place at the Copper Mountain resort and achieved the same result at the annual X Games in Aspen.
The ski resort of Breckenridge receives more than 300 inches of snow a year and offers over 2,350 acres of terrain for visitors to enjoy.
