The perennially popular French resort of Val d'Isere has announced it is to open for the 2007-08 ski season on December 1st.
Those familiar with
ski holidays in Val d'Isere will be looking forward to all the perks the resort has to offer skiers - such as the "hands free" ski pass system.
No longer will skiers on a
Val d'Isere ski holiday have to rummage around in their pockets and risk dropping poles and gloves while they search for their ski pass.
The "hands free" ski pass system was implemented last season and automatically detects and controls the ski pass at the start of a lift and opens the gate automatically.
Other changes made to the Val d'Isere ski area which will benefit individuals on
ski holidays in Val d'Isere are replacements to lift systems which sees the Pyramides drag lift replaced by a chairlift and the Cugnai two-seater chairlift replaced by a four-seater.
