Vanoise Express to open on Saturday

La Plagneis set to open on Saturday (December 20th).
Skiers will be able to cross the valley in just four minutes and it is estimated that over 400,000 people will use the cable car system over the coming season.
The Vanoise Express features two double-decker gondolas, each capable of
transporting 200 people across the 380-metre-high divide.
To mark the opening of the Paradiski area, which comprises the resorts of Les Arcs and La Plagne, free ski pass extensions will be granted and holidaymakers will have the opportunity to gather near the cable car and sample some local delicacies and hot chocolate.
Paradiski is home to two glaciers and over 425-kilometres of tracks, along with two snowparks and three summits over 3,000 metres high.
