Three Kings come to Formigal
Children on holiday in the Spanish ski resort of
Formingal received a royal visit yesterday, when the Three Kings arrived bearing gifts.
Since the slopes of Formigal are not suitable for camels, the visitors made their entrance on skis, with presents for those who had behaved and lumps of coal for the naughty ones.
According to reports, the kings - Melchior, Caspar and Baltazar did not have to give out any coal and children formed an orderly queue on the mountainside to collect their treats.
Commenting on the occasion King Baltazar said: "We have been very impressed with the behaviour of the children this year, especially in the areas of eating properly and going to bed early."
The kings also visited several other Pyrenean resorts including Cerler and Panticosa.
A popular Spanish resort of Formigal is situated around 170 kilometres north of Zaragoza Airport.
