Ski holidays in Breckenridge and other US resorts are becoming increasingly favoured by Brits and other European snow sports fans, it has been reported.
According to the Ski Club of Great Britain, major ski resorts along the east coast of the United States are reporting improved business from over the pond holidaymakers and also Canadians, thanks to current exchange rates.
"The strength of the Canadian dollar - to the US dollar is definitely an attraction for Canadian visitors," Tom Horrocks, communications manager at US ski resort Killington said on the radio, the Ski Club reports.
Meanwhile, the strong UK pound compared to the dollar could also be a driving factor for Britons booking
North America ski holidays.
Snow conditions at Breckenridge are currently good with eight centimetres having fallen in the last week.
More snowfall is predicted for the coming weekend.
