Monday morning can only mean two things, where is the snow this week and how long until I get to spend a week enjoying powder, chalet wine and good old après ski? This week Canada is calling out to anyone who has yet to book their ski holiday, with another storming week of snow and sunshine, those lucky enough to be crossing the Atlantic for their yearly fix this month have got some amazing conditions to look forward to.
As with most Mondays over the past few weeks, Whistler is again leading the snowfall with a superb 62cm of B.C. powder forecast this week with Kicking Horse expected to match the über resorts weather. Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper are all boasting 30cm+ (see right) and have had a great season so far. Silver Star and Fernie are also expecting around 30cm of Canada's finest.
Heading a little south, one of America's craziest powder resorts, Jackson Hole, is expecting a welcome 25cm to top up the world class double-black-diamond skiing. Heading out to California is also a good bet this week with Heavenly and Squaw Valley expecting a top up of around 15cm.

Heading back to Europe, Britain's most popular ski destination, France, is again enjoying fantastic snow throughout the country from the Haute Savoie to the Tarantaise region and even the Southern Alps. The usual suspects of Alpe d'Huez, Avoriaz, Meribel and Les Arcs will benefit from a light, but always welcome, 15-20cm of snow this week.
Maria Alm, Solden and Obergurgl are among Austria's top snow resorts this week with similar snowfall of 15-20cm. Champery, Les Diablerets and Verbier are also expecting a 15cm+ dusting this week.
To finish us off, the Italian resort of Arabba, Selva and Cervinia can expect 10-15cm of our favourite white stuff and Slovenia's Kranjska Gora will be enjoying 11cm.
Another great week of snowfall will be broken up with plenty of sunshine, can you think of a better January because I can't?
