Ski holidays in Madonna di Campiglio tasted victory this week as the FIS Freestyle World Cup continued to delight spectators.
The World Champion titles were taken by Canada's Jennifer Heil and Australia's Dale Begg-Smith in dual moguls, giving Begg-Smith his first ever World Championship title.
Born in Canada, Australia is Begg-Smith's adopted home country. The skier is the country's third gold medal winner and his face is proudly displayed on a commemorative stamp issued by Australia Post last year.
Sports lovers were captivated by the competition, which saw the USA's Shannon Bahrke take the silver and Austria's Margarita Marbler win bronze.
Canada was awarded the nation's cup at the event, which displayed the attractions of a ski holiday in Madonna di Campiglio for viewers the world over.
Close to breathtaking mountains and the Nardis waterfall, the resort has plenty to offer lovers of both skiing and scenery.
The Italian destination's wealth of facilities and picturesque setting ensure that winter sport lovers will continue to enjoy
ski holidays in Madonna di Campiglio even once the World Cup has ended.
