Chamonix open for weekend skiing

Chamonix open for weekend skiing Now is the time for ski holidays in Chamonix, as the resort is now open for weekend breaks.

The French ski resort opened for partial skiing of the Grands Montets ski area on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November.

The Marmottons and Pierre a Ric slopes are now open for skiing, with day passes available for €12.

Meanwhile, for those who require longer ski holidays in Chamonix, the resort opens fully on December 22nd.

Once fully open, those on ski holidays in Chamonix will have the choice of the three main ski areas of Brevent and Flegere, the Grands Montets and the Balme area - while les Houches is also accessible at the opposite end of the valley.

Skiing in Chamonix offers great views of Mont Blanc and the Drus mountain range.
