Recently members of the British royal family were spotted
skiing in Verbier and now it has been revealed that the ski resort was also the location for a star-studded charity ball.
While Princess Eugenie was enjoying a
family ski holiday at the Swiss resort, Australian singer and former Neighbours actress Natalie Imbruglia hosted a Venetian-themed masked ball.
With assistance from Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson, the singer raised $1 million for the charity End Fistula which looks to end the disease in Africa, HHE reports.
Verbier has recently benefited from good snow conditions and a number of other events are set to take place on the resort's slopes in the coming weeks.
On March 29th, the finale of the Challenge Philippe Roux will take place while in April five competitions open to downhill skiers and snowboarders known as the Verbier High Five by Carlsberg are taking place.
