Michelin star chefs Heston Blumenthal & Mickael Weiss will be at the Three Valley Cook Off at this years Metro Ski Show. Celebrity chef, Heston Blumenthal, will be judging the competition at 4pm on Friday 22nd October, with the winners in with a chance to win a holiday to the Three Valleys.
The competition involves sending in recipes for three gourmet Alpine finger food dishes using two of these local ingredients: Jambon cru des montagnes (cured ham), lard de poinrine (streaky bacon), Beaufort cheese and Savoie wine. From which ten contestants will then be picked to take part in one of the five daily cook offs [sic].
The five winners will then be entered into a draw with one of them winning a trip for two to La Tania, with travel, lift passes and gourmet lunches everyday as the prize.
If only I entered more than two cheese and ham sandwiches with a glass of Apremont!
