Snow is set to return to the Alps this week to offer an end of season flourish and a much needed top-up over the Easter Holiday season. Conditions are due to improve slowly with 1cm falling tomorrow, but up to 25cm by Friday.
France is where a large amount of Brits will be skiing this week and things are looking on the up for some Easter slope time. Val d'Isere, Tignes and Val Thorens are all boasting upwards of 20cm by Friday, with Meribel, Les Arcs, La Plagne, Courchevel and La Rosiere all forecast up to 20cm over the next five days.

Austria's high altitude resorts are offering some great spring skiing this week with nearly 25cm expected in Obergurgl, Solden, Ischgl and Kaprun. St. Anton's microclimate is also due to bring around 20cm of powder just in time for the weekend.
Switzerland and Italy are also offering some good piste-bound, spring skiing this week. Saas Fee and Zermatt can boast Europe's highest snowfall with over 26cm, Cervinia, Sauze d'Oulx and Sestriere should all benefit from 20-25cm of snowfall and Verbier will happily accept the 18cm of snowfall on its way.

To round things up, Whistler is showing off with another 47cm of snow — they are either having a record breaking year or the Canadian weather forecast system is having fun at our expense — Kicking Horse is enjoying 37cm of powder and 24cm is falling is Chile's Valee Nevado.
