First Snowfall in California!

First Snowfall in California!

It’s that time of year already!

Even though ski season is still weeks away, winter has made its first appearance in California. Both Mammoth Lakes and Lake Tahoe received their first dustings of the season over the weekend; Squaw Valley in North Lake Tahoe received 3-4” on the upper mountain, whilst between 4 and 6” was found on the top of Mammoth Mountain. Other Tahoe resorts received snowfall too, including Northstar, Sierra-at-Tahoe, and Kirkwood.

There is no avoiding it – winter is coming! Early signs look like it’s going to be a fantastic start to the season. Keep checking Iglu Ski Facebook and Twitter for regular snow updates around the globe!
