Freeride World Tour: Xtreme Verbier

Freeride World Tour: Xtreme Verbier The Freeride World Tour grand final took place yesterday in Verbier, Switzerland, on the famous Bed des Rosses (3222m). The ski and snowboard tour has consisted of five events in Europe and the USA, through the rounds riders have been narrowed down to the elite few that made it through to the spectacular finale in Verbier.

Earlier this season we named the Freeride World Tour as one of our Top 5 ski events to look out for in 2015.

The last event of the Freeride World Tour was incredible. Watching the skiers and snowboarders conquer the 500m rock face of Bec des Rosses was nail-bitingly exciting. Aurélien Ducroz took the ski crown for the 4th time as he won the 20th edition of Xtreme Verbier.
